Introduction
Welcome to TripSeason! This Privacy Policy describes how we, Null Studio LLC, handle information in connection with our mobile application, TripSeason (“the App”), available for iPhone and Android. Your privacy is important to us. The App is designed to provide useful travel weather information, sync access across supported platforms, and keep the information we collect limited to what is needed to operate, support, secure, and improve the App.
Account Information
TripSeason requires an account so that your paid access can work across supported platforms. Account sign-in is available only through Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. Depending on the sign-in provider and the choices you make during sign-in, we may receive information such as your provider account identifier, email address, and name. We use this information to create and maintain your App account, authenticate you, provide support, and connect your purchases or subscriptions to your account.
Information We Collect
- Search History: The App allows you to search for travel destinations. We may temporarily store your search queries locally on your device to improve your user experience by providing recent search suggestions. This data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear your search history in the app settings.
- Favorite Locations: You may choose to save favorite locations within the App. This information is stored locally on your device for your convenience and may be associated with your account when needed to provide cross-platform features.
- Weather Data Requests: When you request weather information for a particular location, the App sends a request to our weather data provider’s API. This request may include the location’s coordinates but does not include any personally identifiable information.
- App Settings: The app stores user preferences for temperature unit, color scheme, and default charts date range on the device locally and may be associated with your account when needed to provide cross-platform features.
- Crash Reporting with Firebase Crashlytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and technical diagnostics when the App fails or behaves unexpectedly. This may include device information, operating system version, app version, error details, stack traces, Crashlytics installation identifiers, Firebase installation identifiers, and related diagnostic context. We use this information to identify and fix bugs and improve App stability.
- Product Analytics with PostHog: We use PostHog to understand how people use the App. PostHog may collect events such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, features used, device and app information, and approximate usage patterns. We use this information to improve the App, prioritize features, and understand product performance.
- Purchase and Entitlement Information with RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, one-time purchases, trials, and access entitlements across platforms. RevenueCat may process purchase status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, renewal information, store region, and an App account identifier. We do not collect or store your full credit card details.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Payment Card Details: Payments are processed by Apple, Google, and their payment systems. We do not collect or store your full credit card number or payment card security code.
- Sensitive Personal Information: We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or precise home address.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and Improve the App: To provide you with the weather information you request, to improve the App’s performance, and to develop new features.
- Account and Access Management: To create and authenticate your account, connect purchases and subscriptions to your account, and make paid access available across supported platforms.
- Customer Support: If you contact us for support, we may use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry.
- Bug Fixing and Stability: Crash reports from Firebase Crashlytics are used to identify, diagnose, and fix bugs in the App.
- App Improvement and Development: Analytics data from PostHog helps us understand user behavior, improve the App’s design, and make informed decisions about future development.
- Purchase Management: Purchase and entitlement information from RevenueCat helps us provide subscriptions, one-time purchases, trials, renewals, and cross-platform access.
Data Security
We take data security seriously and implement reasonable security measures to protect the information used to operate the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to limit the information we collect and use reputable service providers for authentication, crash reporting, analytics, and purchase management.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
